Interesting Interview
Today one of our members, Joe, went down to Roth's to ask the manager a few questions. After asking "do you know about the slave situation in Africa?" he was promptly escorted out and given a phone number to call. When the man on the phone told him to talk to the manager, Joe went back inside to talk to him. However, all he got for a response was "I'm sorry but I'm not going to answer your question." Lovely.

About Us
Not For Trade is based in Salem, Oregon and consists of a group of high school students that are working against the Human Trafficking problem taking place in West Africa. Our goal is to raise awareness in society, as knowledge is power. We are currenly focusing on the foods (mainly coffee and chocolate) that are made by trafficked victims who are not fairly reimbursed for their work. We hope to influence local supermarkets to sell Fair Trade items; items made by people who are being justly paid for the goods they make.
